I knew I had to have a Vergenza Mk.1 the first time I saw it.  I am obsessed
with trying all metal, glass, wood and ceramic sex toys.  This is because I am
obsessed with strength in all its permutations. And, in the world of sex toys,
there is nothing harder and shinier than metal.
The Vergenza is aluminum so it’s much lighter than it looks.  It looks like
nothing more than a weapon, a peculiar retro billy club or neo-cudgel. It can be
ordered in a variety of finishes including obsidian and chambord.  Designed as a
gift for a girlfriend, it became obvious that this was too good a thing to be a
one off and with a little creative ingenuity, production began.
Diligent reviewer that I am, I wanted to try it out on my own and with a
partner.  I wasn’t expecting there to be any difference but since you don’t
know till you try, I was going to try.  First was my solo experiment.
I waited until I was good and horny (this can be any given time) and alone
(this is harder to come by), laid back on the cranberry velvet coverlet atop by
bed, reached for the lube on my night table and pumped the chilly liquid
directly onto myself and the Vergenza.   The Vergenza is a sex toy in two parts;
the first half is a softly rounded series of six ridges that end at a small
tiered base and flow into the second, a narrower tapered handle.   Both sides

tempted to try the handle end.
Temperature play is a particularly delightful benefit of metal toys.  In the
summer, with the Vergenza residing in my air conditioned bedroom, it starts out
beautifully chilled.  A small amount of lube goes a long way and it slid easily

I like that it comes in a classy package and has its own velvet pouch for
storage.  I like that it cleans up easily with just soap and hot water or, if
you have multiple partners can be sterilized in the dishwasher or in boiling
water.
The Vergenza is a great gift to get or to give to any sensualista in your life
who would be surely be appreciative of a toy so luxurious and beautifully
crafted that it should be left on top of your bedside table instead of stashed
away in a drawer.
